Dear William Byrd Band Families,

We're kicking off our fundraiser with Snap! Raise, the nation's leading fundraising platform for groups, clubs and teams. In the past five years, Snap! Raise has helped more than 35,000 groups in the U.S. raise more than $400M in funding! Here is how we get started:

We are asking that you help your band member identify at least 20 people they will reach out to via Snap! Raise, and gather their email address.

The emails address collected will NOT be shared in any way. They are merely used as a way of contact for this donation platform.

The list of 20 people should include many of your child’s biggest fans and needs to be completed in full to ensure our campaign is set up for success. It is my hope and expectation that each student will have a major impact on our program. Here are next steps:

• Help your student select at least 20 potential supporters

• Keep the list of emails someplace electronic and handy – it will make entering them in before our campaign launches much easier

• Avoid using emails of teachers, peers of your students, or strangers

Here are 20 examples of people your student should consider adding at a minimum.

All students need to create a profile and upload 20 quality emails!

Make sure that your emails do not include peers, WBHS teachers, fake emails, ect. Only upload legitimate emails of potential donors that may help support you!
